Blog #20 “There is Always a Way”

While driving on a four lane city road recently, I noticed a squirrel scampering across a wire suspended over the road. This critter was in a big hurry and it appeared that it was not going to let traffic delay the journey to the trees on the other side of the street. So, the squirrel took the fastest option – up a pole, over a wire, down a pole.

Sometimes we let obstacles stand in the way of our achievements and problem solving strategies. It may be that if we follow our instincts, just like this squirrel, we can find a ready option to assist us in moving forward. The solution could be right in front of us and if we get too bogged down in analyzing what to do, we may miss the straightest route to optimal results.
